October 2026 update
The updates archive adds the October 13 draft vote record, preserved source copies and file fingerprints. Read the approved decision and implementation status.
The Tampa Bay Times report and linked district-sourced table provide the 299-student 10-day count used in the question about an alternative Fundamental K–8 location. It is compared with May 2026 FISH capacity of 718; the dates and measures differ. Open the enrollment table.

Method and limits
PDF date check: The official zoned K–8 PDF displays October 6 but records creation and modification on October 7 at 13:18:26 UTC (9:18:26 a.m. EDT). The Fundamental PDF records October 5 at 15:17:47 UTC (11:17:47 a.m. EDT). Both files were downloaded from the district links and inspected October 10. Read the metadata comparison and revision-history question. Metadata alone does not identify the capacity edit.

The FDOE reports page identifies May 2026 as the update date. The workbook’s source note describes district-reported FISH data. We do not present it as a new physical inspection or a guarantee of usable program seats.
The superintendent’s statement and the revised-plan timeline are compared in the public-review section. The quote is from Bay News 9, October 6; the PCS meeting schedule dates the workshop to October 6, and the PCS FAQ schedules the vote for October 13.
Evidence standards
Published plans and estimates remain attributed to the district. Proposed capacities are not enrollment forecasts.
FISH workbook values have cell references. Calculations show inputs and do not establish educational feasibility.
Community reports are attributed and verification gaps stated. Questions identify documents still needed.
